A light trench goes a long way during this summer season, for those breeze chilly evenings to nights, wearing a light fabric trench just complements any outfit.
Stripes are good bold print for me, and its maybe one of the few prints I wear! It is important to know your body well, what works on you and what doesn't.
If you are not sure about what works for you, let me tell you a few of my style ideas behind wearing prints. If your body shape is similar than mine smaller from top and thicker from the bottom, dressing you body with prints head to toe doesn't flatter you at all. If you like prints, my tip is to wear them on the top a cute blazer or a cute top. If you find some printed bottom you really like, don't be afraid, try it out! Stripes or light printed separates are a good way to experiment with and those will for sure do your body good. In my opinion the busier the fabric, the more it will do to make you appear thicker than you are, it will also also shorten your height by giving you the visual illusion of appearing heavier.
If you have a slimmer frame and your shoulders match with the width of your hips, then I recommend dressing your body with printed dresses and matching printed ensembles. You will wear the prints without letting the prints wear you down. This specific body type is meant for printed ... anything!
Hope you enjoy the look and have a great rest of the week...xo
